Many testing deadlines and college fair events are fast approaching. The following announcements highlight just a few of the many opportunities available. Please see the attached Test Dates and Deadlines document for a more extensive list.

• Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation - High School Seniors are eligible to apply for $3million in college scholarships! Scholarhips are based on academic achievement, ability to lead, and community service. Apply online at www.coca-colascholars.org and click on Coca-Cola Four Year Award for Seniors.

• College representatives visit NCCS! The following colleges will be sending representatives to NCCS: Covenant College, University of Mobile, Trinity, Berry College, North Georgia College and State University, Highpoint, and Mississippi State. If you are interested, see the attached document that lists dates and times of the events.

• Monday, November 10, 2008 - Planning, Applying, and Paying for College - 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM - Media Center.  A representative from the Georgia Finance Commission is the guest speaker.
• Thursday, November 20, 2008 - NCAA Clearing House/Eligibility for College Athletics - 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Media Center.  Dr. Darell Pope from KSU is the guest speaker.
• Tuesday, February 3rd - FAFSA - the Key to Federal Financial Aide and Scholarships - 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM - Media Center.  A Georgia Finance Commission representative is the guest speaker.
